The Labor Management Institute is pleased to offer the Eve Hall Memorial Scholarship.

Eve Hall was a registered nurse who provided outstanding service and was instrumental in advancing the professional role of the nursing staffing coordinator. Eve Hall had an outstanding career and went above and beyond to highlight their necessity, challenges and contributions of staffing coordinators within hospitals. She was a successful critical care staffing coordinator at NY-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell campus for over 25 years.

Highlights of her career dedicated to making nursing staffing coordination a profession, include:  
1. LMI Certification in Scheduling & Staffing
2. LMI Certified Resource Leader
3. General member and Advisory Committee member of the IOSSRL (since its inception)
4. 10-year attendee of the LMI annual conference on workforce management
5. National speaker on topics related to labor management including:
    a.  Igniting Human Capital to Achieve Service Excellence
    b.  Budgeting 1,2,3, for Nursing

LMI WILL AWARD TWO-(2) SCHOLARSHIPS BI-ANNUALLY!

Each Scholarship is full tuition for the awardees' choice of LMI's current certification courses within the next 12 months from the date awarded (cash value: $1,395.00 and does not include travel expenses to the selected class location).

Awardees will be introduced and present their contribution at the LMI Bi-Annual International Conference on Workforce Management JUNE 2014.  LMI will provide Awardees with a paid conference registration and travel expenses for one- (1) (airfare, hotel and other meals not included in the conference).

DUE DATE FOR APPLICATION SUBMISSION IS MARCH 30:

Scholarship application and submission requirements are available on the PDF Application form. Candidates can apply by submitting for one of the following:
1. a best practice they have developed
2. a major contribution or major change that they have implemented or would like to implement relating to hospital labor workforc3x0020;to excellence exemplified by Eve Hall's career.&#x00203Bthe Eve Hall Memorial LMI Scholarship Application Form and submit to the Labor Management Institute via: email to ChrysMarie Suby at c.suby@lminstitute.com; fax at (952-746-7611) or US mail to the address on the Application Form.
